Charlene Garrett, MBA

Scholarship for Isaac Brown

I went from a business career (with an MBA) to a business owner, to a foreign missionary. I loved the 4 years that I spent in South Africa and I am overwhelmed at all that I was a part of there. I saw so much change in and through me. Literally thousands of kids now know about HIV and BELIEVE that there is HOPE for them. They have a purpose and a destiny.

However, while I was in South Africa, I also saw how easy it is to minister as an Orphan instead of a Son.  Sadly, I helped close the ministry that I worked for and watched those I love get hurt and leave ministry.

Now I am back in the US taking the vision that God has given me and starting to put it more into action.  Eight years ago, I felt the Lord say two things to me, "Your call is to"Help leaders stay where they are called" and " You will be like Aaron's Hands". So Aaron's Hands is my calling- it is about creating a culture where strong women and men who feel called to support the big visions of others are honored, valued and encouraged to hold the ladders well.

I am currently experiencing this great favor and honor as the assisant to Alyn and AJ Jones and as the school administrator for the School of Supernatural Life in Franklin, TN.
